I’m feeling like I’m in kind of a hump life today, but I’ve kind of decided to ignore it. So, in light of something insightful and meaningful, here are just some miscellaneous thinks.

• Gwennie wants to paint the kitchen purple, and she’s just about got me talked into it because I’m sick of the yellow.
• When you’re on a treadmill and “Iron Man” comes on, you feel like a bad ass, no matter your age, sex, shape, etc.
• My sister in law gave me this brown sugar body scrub that she swore was ”the best thing that ever happened to my skin.” I used it in the shower today. It made me feel sticky and smell like a big fat snickerdoodle. I took another shower.
• The girls and I made scones for dinner and we ate them with giant glasses of milk.
• The wretched twins next door again made me realize that I am not at all capable of preparing my daughters for the world of jealousy and competition that awaits them. I can’t even manage it myself.
• At the invitation of a friend, I started twitter last night. While it’s new, I’m not quite experiencing the same feeling as the first flush of Facebook.
• Speaking of, I’m kind of over the Facebook games. I removed a bunch of applications from my profile today. Sorry vampire friends. I really was the weak immortal in the coven.
• As crazy as it gets, at least I’m not seeing Jesus’ face in my cat’s fur.
• I’ve watched the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie trailer a dozen times today, and I couldn’t stop smiling.
• My girls are very, very whiny, and I’m making them go to bed as soon as the sun sets. Tick tock.
