I am a 40 year-old, politically liberal wife and mother of two. I teach composition part time at a largely commuter state university. Ralph Waldo Emerson is my personal/spiritual/intellectual guide. I try to appreciate that each person has unique gifts (even if that gift is to be a complete pain in the ass), and on good days, I manage to remember this. However, I’m downright pissy about intolerance and injustice (real or imagined). I laugh a little too loudly and often inappropriately, and I sometimes craft strings of profanity in a way that, I’m sure, makes my drunken Irish-American ancestors proud!

LOL! You sound like my long, lost sister (except for the Irish-American part. German here!)
Enjoying your blog!
Cheers,

I am the Denver Metro Library Examiner for Examiner.com. It seems like the only time I ever receive comments for one of my articles is when I publish something about Twilight. Meyer’s novels are creating a powerful phenomenon similar to the Potter rage. Anyway, I love your blog-essay about your Twilight reading experience and hope you won’t mind if I quote you in one of my upcoming articles.
